Archive of erased drawings (2024-)

Conceptual artwork, private performance, 452 graphite drawings on paper

Archive of erased drawings (2024-) was first exhibited in the Royal institute of art’s graduation show 2026 at Konstakademien, selected for the context of an institution which originated as Ritarakademien, educating young artists in drawing from 1735 -1978.

The archive is an artist’s collection, every drawing saved throughout the years; now erased. The oldest drawings were from 2011, and depicted people, places, and objects. The eraser became a tool for reigniting the drawings, a way of looking at them more closely than ever before- 452 moments accumulating into a bonfire, burning one degree hotter than paper.

Special thank you to the production team of the graduation show of 2026: Blaise Kirschner, Oskar Hult and Silvia Thomackenstein
