SCORES FOR ATTENTION DIRECTION (2026)
Pinholes, wall paint on A3 archival prints
When standing in front of an attention score the viewer becomes performer- their attention is the action they perform and the pinholes the notes that they follow. They can choose the chronology, duration, and speed of their performance- or to turn away entirely, but the score is parasitic and insists on being played for as long as a performer is present.
Presented as a grid the scores become a non-hierarchical stream of images, functioning in the same way as an individual score but on a larger scale; each score becomes a moment where attention can linger.
