Photographs, thumbtacks, a paint roller and white wall-paint. The nodes offering glimpses of the original images, shifting between confetti and bullet holes- fragments of pictures; cats, cocktails, friends, family, terror, resistance, violence, victims, dogs in sunglasses. The stream of images appear in an opaque, non-hierarchical flow, all butchered into just a few key moments designed to direct the viewers attention, like a score the viewer plays without any access to the bigger picture.

This method of painting removes information while emphasizing the mechanics of individual agency, in an attention economy where the entire market is designed to algorithmically mine our gaze. Attention-mining has been shown to be a driving force in the contemporary rise of populism, mass disinformation, and the polarization of Western civilization.
